Today in basketball practice, our team played some new comers. Though it was like an exhibition game, everyone took it rather seriously and played competitive through out. There was one possesion at the last second where I left my responsible zone to help out and let the opponent scored at the last second to win the game. I was applying pressure at their top scorer, but maybe I should have trusted my teammates more and let them handle their own men. Other than that particular game, our team won the rest of the games in good defense manner, which was a good thing.
Nowadays, I still think a lot before I stepped on the court. But once I get on the court, I can immediately focus on playing ball and not thinking about anything other than winning.
Funny thing, I've been playing basketball for more than 10 years, but right now it's the time I feel that I am truly learning how to play the game.
