Today I felt like I was back in my twenties; better yet, like I was in high school. In the basketball game tonight, I was running up and down the court in full speed, and didn't feel tired at all. I felt like I could run and jump all day. Moreover, my shooting touches were excellent. My 3 pt shots were dropping like rainbows. The arcs were beautiful and they all went in nothing but net. So after the ball game, I kinda wondered, was it the 2 coffee that I had before the game that made me perform at such a high level or the trainings that I've been doing started to show the differences, or was it both?
Anyway, I think my accomplishment tonight had to be my winning attitude. After that miserable performance last week, I've never wanted to experience that type of pain again. I know I'm better than everyone else, and I just have to show my skills on the court. So, tonight, instead of playing like it was an exhibition game, you win one I win one type of game, I wanted to win all games. I let down a couple of warm up games at the beginning, but when my team started to slip away on a losing streak, I stepped up and made sure that I had control of the game. It turned out great. After I knocked down a couple of shots, my team started to get back in rhythm and win convincingly over our opponents.
I felt great after the ball game. Not only that my physical strength started to get better, I was happy that my attitude towards winning started to improve. I think I'm having more confidence in my skills and myself like I was in high school. The game is more interesting when it's competitive. There is nothing to fear after all.
Start WINNING!
