Not as exciting as the title sounds, but it was a fun day.
Just when I thought today was gonna go by as one of those ordinary days, something interesting happened. I went out jogging and set to run 45min straight, so I thought I will run as far as possible and just return home with the same route. I ran to Naruse, a neibour town that I've only been there by train, and just when I thought I will return home, I got confused on the route I took and decided to trust my sense of direction and tried different route. By the time I realized it, I was 3 stations away from Tamagawagakuen already. I left home at 6:30pm and it was already 8pm and I had no idea where I was. All I saw was farms and forest. I saw some little train stations, but I couldn't take them because I didn't bring any money with me. So I had no choice but to keep walking and finding my way home.
I circled around the same place many times before I finally figured out my way home. When I saw the building of Tamagawa University, the excitement was speechless.
A lot of times I was very close to get back to Tamagawagakuen, but somehow I decided to take other roads and they took me further and further away from home.
While I was figuring my way home and got frustrated, I thought of the old people who go out for a walk and have difficulty returning home. It must be a horrible feelings for them.
Today I was a little bit stressed out because of the house issue and my career planning. During the time I was finding my way home, I had the chance to think about the things that have been concerning me lately. At the end, I felt that things weren't as complicated as I thought they were. When I got home, I felt much better and had my mind straight again. Also, it's not a bad way to get more familiar with the area I am living in :)
