What a weird night

Last night was a strange night.

I was hit by a flu when everything was practically normal after I came home at around 9pm. I was sitting at my desk and all of a sudden I started to have runny nose. The thing wouldn't stop for the whole night and I was forced to stay awake until the morning. Finally I had my sleep but had to breath with my mouth because of the runny nose.

Now I know what it feels like to catch a cold instantly. Luckily the cold went away after drinking a bunch of warm water and playing basketball to get my body sweat.

Anyway, a tired day because of the weird flu and mentally tired now because of the bad presidential election result in Taiwan. I'm not a die hard supporter for any parties, but I wonder, how come someone who is soft, no decision making skill, no guts, no problem solving skill, no talent in speech making, and most importantly, can't handle big matters can become my president of Taiwan for the next 4 years?

I have a feeling that this is some twisted myth that only happens in Taiwan, and will confuse me for quite some time before I can find a legitimate answer to it.
