Things I've Learnt

So far, I've learnt quite a few things from the dvd project I am working on.

1. It's a lot easier to have sounds / voices / narrations ready before putting all the clips together.
It works the other way around, but takes a great deal of imagination and the timing may be off.

2. Transitions / Overlapping can be used to show the differences in time during a sequence.

3. When putting many clips together, the timing of cuts is like human's breathing rhythm. 4 beats per se, 1, 2, 3, cut.

and the most valuable lesson I've learnt is that

4. It's not difficult to get up early in the morning anymore :D

However, the morning train rush in Tokyo is just too crowded ...
