So far, I've learnt quite a few things from the dvd project I am working on.
1. It's a lot easier to have sounds / voices / narrations ready before putting all the clips together.
It works the other way around, but takes a great deal of imagination and the timing may be off.
2. Transitions / Overlapping can be used to show the differences in time during a sequence.
3. When putting many clips together, the timing of cuts is like human's breathing rhythm. 4 beats per se, 1, 2, 3, cut.
and the most valuable lesson I've learnt is that
4. It's not difficult to get up early in the morning anymore :D
However, the morning train rush in Tokyo is just too crowded ...
