It's been a while ...

It's been a while since I last updated my blog. While I was traveling, I didn't have time to keep track with my activities. Saying that, it's just an excuse I guess. If I had been keeping track with the days during my vacation, it wouldn't be so hard to organize all the photos by now :D

Oh well, let's get started with something new.











Last week I joined the Tamagawa River Side Ekiden (relay) It was quite interesting to see how Japanese approach these kind of events. Instead of a relay, it was more like a cosplay (short for costume play) party. I saw Dragon ball, China dress, nurse, student (sailor) uniform, ... you name it. People showed up in groups or families and were having fun with the events. Instead of a serious competition, people were having a fun and relaxing time, and at the same time, enjoying a good run on a sunny Sunday afternoon.













The relay was a very interesting experience. And I successfully finished 3k run. Ya hoo!! :D I think my time was ok, though I forgot to time my run. Now I have the nike + ipod thing with me, I'll remember to keep track with my time every time I run. My goal next month would be to complete 4K fun in one go.
