Will

On my way to the office today, I bumped into Otsuka san, one of the senior director in my company. We had this conversation about how to say the word "will" in different languages. Later in the day, he wrote me an e-mail on how he values the power of will in the industry we are in.

He said that, "Most often it's not the technique that determines the quality of a project. It's the will that makes the final difference. It's the willingness to perfect your work, and the attitude of not giving up easily, that gives you the edge over other competitors. Always give your best til the last minute, even when things are getting very tight. Without this attitude, the improvement stops."

Then he added "The determination coexists with a healthy body. No matter how strong your will is, it's meaningless without a good health. "

Man, what a great word of wisdom! _(^- ^)/
